Meet the farm crew

Over the years we have accumulated many barnyard animals, both big and small….

The chickens! Currently a flock of over a dozen strong, ranging in breeds, ages and attitudes. Here are a few hens.

Trickster: our Polish Rooster keeps the ladies in line

The turkeys! Spring -November additions - they are very curious, large and loud...

Our special little call duck "Minnie" (RIGHT) a bantam mallard. She was a rescue from PAWS.

The Twins: two female call ducks who are probably the loudest ducks on the planet

Panda - the rescue Pygmy goat. She came to us from www.pasadosafehaven.org and is the herd mate to our horse. She is also the alpha queen of the barnyard and doesn't put up with a lot of messing around!

Willow - the rescued QH/appy mare - and a redhead. She is a fun trail horse and our pasture pony, plus she helps make great compost!

This is the home to our 60,000 plus lady insects who work long hours pollinating our garden and providing honey!

Finally, meet the lucky boy - Spanky is a silly Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is the most spoiled of all of the animals. He thinks he is a lap dog and spends the majority of his time snoring on the deck. Thanks to him we have very few predator problems!
